I think that any game is addictive - it just depends on how easy it is. If it's too easy you get bored, too hard and you give up. If you know you can do it but you're struggling - that's when it's addictive. Take GTA: VC for example. I've "completed" it before, but when I got around to doing it again, I couldn't get passed a time mission. That's when the game became addictive - trying everything I could to do it. Razz Eventually I gave up and went back to the good ol' PC. XD

I've just thought of another addictive game. Okay, so it's for the PS1 rather than the PS2... It was addictive nonetheless. I don't know if anyone else heard of it (I don't think it was relatively popular) but "Hogs of War". For those of you who don't know what it is, it's just a cartoon style strategy shooter where you control pigs. Hella fun, an amazing way to waste a day. Very Happy

Talking about all these old games makes me want to dig 'em out and go on 'em. The only problem with that is, as I think I said before, my prick of a brother took my PS1 rendering all the games I have useless. Sad

The best sonic game was by far that one on the Sega. I think it may have been the first sonic game? I'm not too sure. 2D crap graphics, but sooo much fun. Razz I just loved the music. Very Happy

I don't know of this posted before but... What is an emulator? Is it just something that lets you play console games on the computer? (I think my friend told me something about that ages ago). The only problem is I know NOTHING about computers - I just know how to type fast. Very Happy

lol I'm a good typer but I've never had anyone ask me to do things. Razz You wouldn't happen to have Bebo would you? I'm into the habit of asking everyone that, I just want to see how my typing score compares to theirs. Razz

Yeah- there are emulators for up until in Nintendo:
N64 and DS
Sony:
PS2
and
Xbox:
Xbox

They just let you play games on the comp. It's not as fun of course without the controller, but you still get to play them.

Personally, I don't believe in getting ROMs for DS games, and in the future other newer games. I only get the older ones, because the companies should get the money for their games. Once they stop producing them though, they don't really care of course. Lots of people get them for the newest games and stuff (There's a freaking Wii emulator out now 0.0) but IMO that's kinda immoral and unChristlike.

I can see where you're coming from to be honest. Razz For the older games, fair enough. However... Since you're against getting it for the newer games (and to some extent... Like the Wii, I suppose I am). But what's your stance on music downloading then? The bands don't get any more for that, but people do it for all the songs - I'm guilty of doing that. XD

Soccer, have you ever came across the typing speed app on Bebo? Most people I've spoken to haven't, but it seems rather popular. :O

That's the biggest problem with games - the price. That's the main reason I don't go on my 360 much, it's a rip off. Sad

I might think of getting a 360 if it wasn't so expensive. I can barely get a Wii and games every now and then.

For music downloading, I don't have an Ipod/MP3 player yet actually Razz Thinking about it for Christmas or something.
Of course, I've downloaded them onto my PC before, so I'd have to be guilty. Now, however, I've gotten into just listening to them uploaded on Youtube.

Since I've gotten Vista (it's fucking crap) I've had to settle for youtube. I used to use Ares for getting my music, but that doesn't agree with Vistas UI thing or whatever. If I were you I wouldn't bother getting an MP3, unless it's charged via the computer like iPods. I hate my MP3 (I went cheap and didn't want the iPod) and I'm always looking for a new battery to put in it.
