What's better?

I might as well put it in the Wii section, because I feel that the majority of people will say the Wii anyway. What's the best console? 360, Wii or PS3. Usually I wouldn't put the PS3 into it due to the high price but... I might as well. Personally I think that the 360 is the better console. Anyone care to argue with my logic?

PS3: too high a price for the console. High price is down to the graphics (okay, they are the best) but it's about gameplay, not graphics.

Wii: this isn't a real console judging by the adverts. you "shake" the controller (i can't remember which game) and that's just not a console for hardcore gamers.

360: reasonable price, good graphics for gamers who need the graphics to play, best selection of unique games.

I'm with you 100% with the xbox 360 being the best.

I'm surprised that this topic isn't getting more attention... From what I've seen in the past this type of topic is a "hot spot" for debate. Okay, the majority of people prefer the 360 for the reasons I've said - but others prefer PS3 for the best graphics. Surely there's someone like this on this forum? What about the more "active" people who think the Wii is the best? Or am I right in thinking that the Wii is favoured mostly by the girls?

My fave is Wii.

Also, since I like to program and all...you can make homebrew and stuff for wii, make codes for games, etc.

I think the motion control is really good too. Very fun.

I don't care too much about graphics as long as the gameplay is good, I don't play on HDTV anways, my sis always watching TV on it. For Instance, I like some N64 games better than some of the 360/ps3/wii games...good old days

Glad to see not everyone loves the 360. I'm sure I might like the Wii if I got one/went on one. The only reason I don't get one is my brother - if I make any sound at all he gets mad. And I assume a Wii isn't a "silent" console like others.

well ps3 has best graphics...i have one...also have wii, and xbox360...wii is VERY fun, but its more for family's...and xbox360 is for all ages...i like 360 best

Isn't Nintendo known for being best for all ages, games, categories?
Personally, I think Nintendo specializes in alittle of everything, plus their Nintendo only serieses, etc
and then PS3 and X360 are better for specific categories like: sports, more FPS's than Nintendo, and aimed more at older gamers. Then there are only a few they have that Nintendo doesn't

So, for those categories I'd go with 360 or PS3, but if I liked one that was also out on Wii, I'd get it.
What's more awesome than pointing your gun at the screen? Or swinging to hit a homer?

As for the Wii noise, I only have a Wii, just play other systems at my mate's houses, but I have it on literally 1ft away from me and don't notice it, but I think it mightmake a bit more noise when loading...still only hearable from about 5 ft away tho
